Our KNOW the Test™ approach promotes a strategic and positive approach to the SAT, ACT, AP and TOEFL® entrance exams. Rather than drilling weaknesses or signing students up for exhausting and expensive Sunday classes, we’ve designed a range of choices for families so you can find what works best for your student and budget. Test-Taking Workshop for Juniors, brought to you by Tilton College Counseling
12-1pm, WEDNESDAY MARCH 25TH, 2026
Brought to you by Tilton College Counseling, this one hour lunch workshop Provides students with an overview of the test and teaches them the gamesmanship and key strategies they need to avoid pitfalls and manage anxiety.
Open to all Tilton juniors and brought to you by Tilton College Counseling, Knower test prep experts will join Tilton juniors for lunch on Wednesday, March 25th, and present a valuable seminar to help them navigate the SAT with confidence. The workshop begins with an overview of what to expect on the test, how it is scored, and how to respond to the different modules that the SAT will present on the Blue Book Virtual Testing Platform. From there, we share important strategies for the math and reading sections and move on to teach students how to manage their time on the test, triage questions based on the material they’re learning, and answer correctly, choose high percentage questions, and focus on their accuracy. Avoid tricks, and most but not least, we go over some great mantras to help bring forward the right mentality to succeed at these test.

knower test prep experts will offer three lunch workshops in the weeks prior to the April SAT test date: One workshop for each content area on the SAT. These workshops are designed to build on the foundational strategies introduced in the March 25th Strategy Workshop with some targeted content practice and more specific techniques and applications for each aspect of the SAT exam. The lunch environment offers a way for students to study for the SAT, engage with the material without overtaxing them in this very busy and stressful time of year. These workshops are a great option to get expert tasks done in a reasonable dose that offers something useful for all students and provides guidance and added resources for additional study on their own.
